KM End to End

KM End-to-end encompasses a comprehensive approach to systematically capture, organize, store, share, and utilize both explicit and tacit knowledge within an organization. It involves the strategic alignment of people, processes, technologies, and culture to enable seamless knowledge flow across all levels and functions.

This is the theme of our conference where we bring four areas of expert sharing

  1. People - the importance of understanding diversity and stories
  2. Processes - where we leverage on KM for business development and agile project management
  3. Technology - utilizing generative AI as a KM enabler and
  4. Standards - where we learn from case studies on the current state of KM.

The ultimate goal of end-to-end KM is to maximize the utilization of organizational knowledge, leading to informed decision-making, improved problem-solving, enhanced employee performance, and sustained competitive advantage.

GLINK

In 2015, the KM Global network embarked on a visionary journey, marking the inception of the inaugural Global Learning Week hosted by KM Society Singapore at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The momentum continued in 2017, led by the Institute of Knowledge and Innovation South East Asia, with a successful event at Bangkok University. During the lead-up to the 2017 conference, the transformative concept of GLINK crystallized—a dynamic platform uniting global trailblazers to shape the future of knowledge and innovation.

Central to the GLINK Summit's ethos is an inspiring spirit of collaboration that transcends geographical borders. Participants are immersed in a rich tapestry of experiences, engaging with thought-provoking keynotes, immersive workshops, and meticulously curated networking sessions. This environment empowers attendees to evolve from passive recipients to active contributors, drawing insights from global visionaries and cutting-edge ideas.

However, the GLINK Summit surpasses being a mere event; it is an arena of co-creation, where the synergy of diverse minds takes centre stage. Its transformative essence propels it beyond traditional conference boundaries, catalysing innovative connections and shaping the trajectory of knowledge in the years ahead.

We extend a warm invitation to join us at the GLINK Summit, where the spirit of collaboration sparks inspiration, drives innovation, and collectively shapes the ever-evolving landscape of knowledge.

The KM Summit

The KM Summit was held for the first time by the Indonesian Knowledge Management Society (KMSI) in 2015 in Jakarta. The background of the KM Summit at that time was based on the condition of the Indonesian nation's competitiveness which did not seem to be developing properly. This can be seen from the ranking results for several competitiveness themes, such as the Global Innovation Index, Knowledge Economy Index, and Human Development Index. From the results of this ranking it can be concluded that Indonesian people are still a burden in the organization. Workers in the organization are still unable to optimize their creativity for competitive advantage. It also shows our weaknesses in managing people and their knowledge within the organization. So that the existence of the KM Summit is very important to socialize KM nationally and regionally, with a focus on human development, process development, and technology utilization. By implementing KM in a structured manner, it is expected that organizations can consistently and optimally develop and utilize knowledge for the betterment of their organization.

During the Covid-19 pandemic from 2020-2022, the KM Summit was not held.
Since then, the acknowledgement of KM as an enabler to business process improvement and the maturity of KM in indonesia soared, today, practicing Knowledge Managers use the latest tools, and implement nextgen KM Strategies.
In 2024, the KM Summit will be held in conjunction with the KMGN or Knowledge Management Global Network' global learning week,  which is planned to be an annual event organised by KMGN. *A collaboration of KM societies in four countries, namely Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia. The collaboration of these four countries shows how KM can be developed not only nationally but can grow regionally and internationally. This has become very important for the development of knowledge management practices in today's world
